How did you get all the dates to line up? When I do it they are all out of line.
The trick to that was choosing a font that is "fixed width," meaning that each number/letter takes up the same amount of space. In most fonts "i" and "w" take up different amounts of space, but in a "fixed width" font they take up the same amount of space. This makes it so any combination of 4 characters would be the same length. I had to play around with several different fonts before I found one I liked that worked.Another option, if you're working with MS Word, would be to: (I work on a Mac and so I'm not sure how closely these procedures will line up to that of a PC)1. Highlight dates you need to be longer/shorter.2. Go to "format" and select "font"3. Select the tab for "character spacing"4. Increase or decrease the character spacing until text is desired length. (you may have to play around with different character spacings before you find the setting that works)Let me know if this helps!
I've pinned the same idea and I love it! I have a friend who is about to get married and I'm thinking it would make a great gift. Thanks for the great tutorial!
SJ, I think this would make a wonderful gift, too, especially for a wedding! Glad the tutorial was helpful! Thank you for stopping by and leaving some comment love!
Wow! I guess you are right, when you knew you knew. I like the top one with the lines. They both look great though!
Haha! Yes, neither of us had any doubts! We know we both feared the Lord and were determined to serve Him first and foremost. We knew with this foundation that we would be able to work through anything together, with the help of our Heavenly Father, and we have. :) Thank you for you sweet words and for stopping by! Come back again soon and leave some more wonderful comment love!
